I like very much Padre Pio’s prayer : “ My Lord I commend my past to Your mercy, my present to Your love , entrust my future to Your divine care !”

Only the present is in our possession, that we have to live according to the best of our ability, the present moment cannot be extended, one has to get ready, to be able to deal with what the tomorrow brings .
