Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel….

'Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law ….... “ says our Lord Jesus Christ.
Over the last, close on 25 years ,we took in more than five thousand children , and through them I got to know the troubles, problems of many, many families . . I believe that in the tragedy every community falling apart on a certain level one can find they committed sin either willingly or unwillingly . If man disregards any one of the ten commandments then suffering, pain , falling apart follows almost automatically. God in His commandments , laws gave an “instruction manual “ . That person who will take this seriously, will keep it , will be happy. Naturally the cross will appear in our lives even if we live without sin , lovingly , but this cross as our Lord declares it :" my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”Matthew11, 30…and that is why it does not cut into the flesh and does not pull you down, but it lifts you up, fulfils you . Our Lord Jesus Christ would like us to use the ten commandments as a precious compass and we should consult it prior to any decisions , steps we take.
I pray from the bottom of my heart that we find enough wisdom to walk on the way of God’s commandments every day of our lives .
With love,
Father Csaba

Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. In truth I tell you, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, is to disappear from the Law until all its purpose is achieved.
Therefore, anyone who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of Heaven; but the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 5, 17-19
