Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel …Saturday 28 October 2017 The feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles
"In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God” Luke 6,12
I like to imagine as our Lord Jesus Christ as a child plays with the children, but I also like to observe Him as an adult, the way He teaches enthusiastically , travels around wearily, or He sits by the evening fire together with His disciples !I encourage you today that let’s try with our mind’s eyes to gaze in wonderment at Jesus spending the whole night in worshiping God ! The Holy Trinity is together , Jesus with the strong arms of prayer embraces the heavenly Father, the consoling Spirit ! Naturally we do not understand , and never will understand the mystery of the Holy Trinity , but I believe that we don’t have to search with our intellect, reasoning , but we have to gaze in wonderment at that infinite love that binds together the Holy Trinity !
Jesus spend the whole night worshiping God ! Jesus as a man fulfils the first commandment :"YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND HIM ONLY SHALL YOU SERVE”! Am I fulfilling God’s first commandment ? We are followers of Christ, let’s awaken the desire in our hearts to adore God ! Let’s dare , want to spend our nights in the adoration of God ! Let’s follow our Lord Jesus Christ on the infinitely simple way of adoring our God ! This is that narrow, steep road that leads to the kingdom of heaven ! If you search in your heart , there is the desire for the infinite beauty , goodness , kindness that you focus the potential of infinite love not on idols but on the adoration of your Heavenly Father ! The kingdom of heaven does not need a key , without any ulterior motive worship God, and the Infinity will open up before you and then the flame with the flame will fuse, become one !
With love,
Father Csaba

Jesus Ministers to a Great Multitude
17 And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, 18 who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. 19 And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.
