Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel ……. 12 November 2017 , 32nd Sunday of Ordinary time
When is the Bridegroom , Jesus coming back the second time, so He calls the living and the dead to face Him alike ?
We don’t know , but I think that in the light of the gospel , based on the teaching of my Church , that God is long-suffering ,calm and is not in the habit of hastily bringing on the end of the world ! My life, or even the life of some nations, or even parts of the world may come to an end , a couple of smaller branches or even a bigger one may break off a tree, but the tree remains alive and will come into leaf ! In my opinion humanity has not reached yet the tasks set out by our Lord Jesus Christ!
Our Master wants us, that we do not only ask in prayer that : “Thy kingdom come “, but that also we , ourselves with hard work build , beautify our Creator’s reining in our world ! One can safely buy long life milk , plan and work trustingly , because you have time to realise your nice dreams ! I encourage you that no matter how much it hurts pay your bills , the taxes , because the end of the world is still far away ! God will carry the good work that He started with the creation of the world to a good conclusion , He will fulfil all that He started with the redemption He will build with us a kingdom based on love , wisdom were there will not be first and last guest, where at the great wedding feast it will be good to be together joyfully !!!
Lets not wait for the end of the world, but believe in the final victory of love and day after day lets do everything that in reality may love triumph in this world !!
With love,
Father Csaba

Jesus told his disciples this parable:
"The kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins
who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
The foolish ones, when taking their lamps,
brought no oil with them,
but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps.
Since the bridegroom was long delayed,
they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
At midnight, there was a cry,
'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.
The foolish ones said to the wise,
'Give us some of your oil,
for our lamps are going out.'
But the wise ones replied,
'No, for there may not be enough for us and you.
Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.'
While they went off to buy it,
the bridegroom came
and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him.
Then the door was locked.
Afterwards the other virgins came and said,
'Lord, Lord, open the door for us!'
But he said in reply,
'Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.'
Therefore, stay awake,
for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
