Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel…. Wednesday 13 June 2018 The Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua.
Many people ask very often what my opinion is about the march of the homosexuals, or about abortion, about sexual life before marriage , etc. etc. The ten commandment is very clear , unambiguous and our Lord Jesus Christ does not give any ducking out , or back doors. What I see that that all those who keep God’s commandments are calm, peaceful, happy . On the other hand those who even from momentary irresponsibility , or with premeditated action trample on , step over God’s commandments are restless, tense, anxious , feel unwell. "23 For the wage paid by sin is death" (St Paul Rom.6, 23) and regarding this no human power , parliament can make decisions over euthanasia , termination of pregnancy , divorce can give peace to the perpetrators of sin . Human laws are not capable of giving permanent answers in matters of conscience, at this level only God’s laws that are of eternal validity and authoritative .
With the humbleness of a lesser brother , with full knowledge of my human weaknesses I ask everybody , that regarding the decisions over issues in their lives should be made in the light of the ten commandments , here in this world and in eternity they will lead to happiness.
With love,
Father Csaba

The commandments given by God on the Mount of Sinai are the commandments are the basic principles of our life of faith and morals of eternal value (Book of Exodus 20). It summarises the duties of man towards God and his fellow human beings. It’s validity is permanent at all times as Jesus told us: " “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them .” Matthew 5,17
God’ ten commandments.
1- ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”
2- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
3- Keep the Sabbath day holy.
4- Honour your father and your mother.
5- You shall not murder.
6- You shall not commit adultery.
7- You shall not steal.
8- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
9- You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife.
10- You shall not covet others properties.
Jesus said to the crowds, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfil. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:17-19
