Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel Wednesday 31 October 2018
"people will come from east and west, from north and south, and will eat in the kingdom of God. “ Luke 13, 30
In 1993 children started coming from the west, the north and from the south , back in those days we were very poor , we had nothing , we only had one church , where we loved God and each other very much !! Even the poorest man is not poor , if he can love and live being loved , that is why in our child protection homes right from the start based on the teaching of Christ we tried to make it into a community of love ! The only pedagogical tool right up to today , is the unselfish love as Jesus gave us as an example ! I am convinced that all our success stems from the teaching of our Master about love ! Every smiling child of ours with a clear glance , our former students who left after finishing school , managing with honest work , establishing nice families are the living gold reserves of Christ’s teaching ! Those 6000 children we took in , raised in our homes , are living proof that the teaching of the Gospel is true , can be lived, it is such a road that can be travelled on, that not only lifts up , sanctifies , makes happy the children , but us adults as well who work with them ! Our failures cannot be blamed on the lack of funds, the interference of the authorities , but on the diminishing of love and this will always be responsible for that ! I can honestly say that I was happy during the past 25 years and I am also happy today , because despite all my weaknesses I can live in a community of love with the Holy Trinity, because in a nice family we are here for one another !
I believe in the final victory of love ,

Jesus went through one town and village after another, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, 'Lord, will only a few be saved?' He said to them, 'Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able. When once the owner of the house has got up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, "Lord, open to us", then in reply he will say to you, "I do not know where you come from." Then you will begin to say, "We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets." But he will say, "I do not know where you come from; go away from me, all you evildoers!" There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrown out. Then people will come from east and west, from north and south, and will eat in the kingdom of God. Indeed, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.'
