" I am he” John 8,30
It is possible that for most people this word does not say much , but for the reader of the Old Testament, the one who knows is these words mean the name of the Creator God ! When the Lord appeared for Moses to send him to organise the exodus from the land of slavery , then to the question of the patriarch God’s answer is incredibly concise" What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you..” Book of Exodus 3 13-14 What does the original text mean ? Lets find out from rabbi Tamás Raj ! “ In Hebrew the future tense in Hungarian is the present and the same as the future tense this is why at the burning thorn bush God’s revelation can be interpreted two different way ( it is also customary) 1. “I am , who I am “ -but I cannot accept this , because God would not make such a supercilious statement “. “I’ll be , who’I’ll -this implies total uncertainty , that God would not want to send as a message to people . That is why my recommendation would be : I am who I’ll be “ - God lets Moses know that the promise He made the forefathers , now most certainly will take place .”
We believe and profess that Jesus said the truth , He is who Is the Everlasting , He has the promise , that was made to the forefathers by God , and now most certainly it will come true .”
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, As it was in the beginning, and now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Word of God
Again he said to them, ‘I am going away, and you will search for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.’ Then the Jews said, ‘Is he going to kill himself? Is that what he means by saying, “Where I am going, you cannot come”?’ He said to them, ‘You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.’ They said to him, ‘Who are you?’ Jesus said to them, ‘Why do I speak to you at all? I have much to say about you and much to condemn; but the one who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.’ They did not understand that he was speaking to them about the Father. So Jesus said, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me. And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.’ As he was saying these things, many believed in him.
