Saturday 14 January 2017
Straight talk is the shortest distance between two people ! I admire our Lord Jesus Christ as he addresses Matthew whom He seemingly met accidentally , encouraging him to give up his work and follow Him by joining Him on the bumpy road , leading through Good Friday as well. It is awesome how this man really gets going with Jesus and faithfully following his Master writes his beautiful gospel at the twilight of his life !
We are the followers of Christ , today’s gospel encourages us to dare to approach, call each other so like this with trust together we can carry out satisfactorily the tasks entrusted to us! Praise be to God I embarked on this road several times and I can joyfully declare Jesus never mislead me because people can really be approached ! Knowing my own weaknesses , I called on people in the name of love and and asked them to help bringing up children , look after the poor , proclaim the gospel in the XXI.st century and I can joyfully say that God gave me companions ! The most precious gifts of my life are the men and women who stood by me and side by side they accepted the work that God entrusted our community with !!
Let us dare to look one another in the eye and sincerely ask for help from each other !
With love ,
Father Csaba

Jesus Calls Levi
He went out again beside the sea, and dall the crowd was coming to him, and he was teaching them. And as he passed by, he saw fLevi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.
And as he reclined at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Mark 2, 13-17
