Momentarily many things can really hurt, but as the emotions settle , often you yourself cannot quite understand how could something seem to have such a great importance . In the past, every day I made notes as to what upset me a lot and it what was that made me happy. After a while I reread it and crossed out those grievances that were no longer important. At the end of the year I reread it again and there was hardly anything left most of it could have been bagged. If this method is put into practice , at the times of quarrels you already think :” Why should I upset myself on account of this? In a week’s time it won’t really matter.” You learn to get at the heart of the matter.
