The essence of love is that I pay attention to others , empty myself. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not come for an 8 hour day from the Kingdom of Heaven , that He can also part- time take care of troublesome “heavenly” affairs , after what He had put straight in earthly matters , but He emptied Himself so that we may be His only concerns - the Holy Gospel uses a very beautiful Greek word for this “ kenosis” .
