I can imagine , that from the great tree of mankind branches will break off and will perish- it already happened during the course of history -but somehow, this holy trunk will put out shoots again , God is at work . 

When we inadvertently get off the right way driving a car , the GPD won’t either chide us , nor whinge because we did not listen to it , but quietly it only signals : “ replanning “, and it is already showing us the correct direction . We believe that this small device always knows where we are and can guide many, many million motorists to reach their destination . Then why would we not believe that the One who gave the intelligence to design the GPS system, can also guide the big family of mankind to his final destination , but all of us individually , as a person as well ?!
