Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel……..

John 14"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
It is so great to know that it is not up to us who has to search for God , traveling over heaven and earth ,(- which direction could we start out from, to look for our Creator?)- but trusting in our Lord’s promise , keeping the commandments of love, we can gladly wait for Him that He looks for and finds us ! It is good to know that our God is not an idle , passive God , but we have a Redeemer who is dynamic, capable of moving mountains , feeding His disciples abundantly , looking for the lost sheep mercifully , lovingly and even calming the stormy sea with patience and wisdom ! Our lord Jesus Christ Himself revealed the identity of our God’s wondrous face, holy virtues!!
My brethren may God’s holy commandment be our everyday compass , our daily reading the ten commandments and lets learn by heart Jesus Christ’s main commandment, that even if we have just woken up from our sleep we know what is most important in our lives if we want to meet with the infinity , our loving God who makes home under the one roof with us !
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Mark 12, 30-31
I believe in the final victory of love ,

21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
