Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel…
Tuesday 4 July 2017
Lord I am also of little faith, but I still clench my teeth and start in Your footsteps !! I feel and know that You expect us that we take bigger steps , more courageously to embark on the way of love !! A kind man from Australia bequeathed a larger sum of money for the Foundation and using this money we bought a house right next to our house in Szárhegy ! We bought a nice one- storey building , because on the one hand we outgrew our existing house and on the other hand we would like to develop a few nice rooms , with bathrooms for the volunteers knocking on our doors and our guests !
Our home in Szárhegy back then was named after Kájoni János , the Transylvanian Franciscan poly historian ! He in Your name our Lord , dared to build a monastery , a church ,an organ, printery , publish books! Asking the intercession of our patron saint , Lord we also embarked in Your name , to extend our child protection home , to beautify it carrying on with the work entrusted onto us in the interest of our children !! I ask you lovingly our Lord God for Your blessing on this extension of our home dedicated in honour of Kájoni János, help us that following in the footsteps of our great example lovingly, with goodness we fill with lives, settle in our beautiful homeland !
With trust,
Father Csaba
translated by dr k.e.
As Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea,
so that the boat was being swamped by waves;
but he was asleep.
They came and woke him, saying,
"Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
He said to them, "Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?"
Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was great calm.
The men were amazed and said, "What sort of man is this,
whom even the winds and the sea obey?”
Matthew 8, 23-27
