Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel Thursday 20 September 2018
Love is the only force giving birth and developing our world ! God was urged by love to share with us His children the joy of existence !! God is only lead by love in His kind-hearted creative work to bring into existence ,His children and in time to develop us in His creative work . On the eve of Christmas this infinite love became incarnate , came among us , became man so that He could play with us in the dusty streets of Nazareth, , to listen to us, to speak to us, to share His secrets with us , that God is a community of love , the living Holy Trinity ! Jesus invited all of us into this blazing community of love, to the heavenly feast where there is no first or last guest , where the Heavenly Father awaits all His children to come home ! This is such good news , that Jesus could not keep silent about , with which He sent His disciples all over the world, and sacrificed His life for on Good Friday ! Our existence is a journey from nothing towards the infinite ! In our mother’s womb two tiny cells met and from “nothing” a life burst ! We were borne , we started to walk , talk , and taking delight in more and more things , we are walking slowly , our goal is the Infinity ! To roam the Infinity , to discover , to understand God’s wonderful secrets , for this our earthly life is not enough , we need infinite time for this , but this is no problem as we are immortal ! Our aim is to grow up , so that sitting at the one table with our Creator , we can be part of the community of Saints , of the community of love of the one God in the Holy Trinity ! Our Creators first words are about this , His first commandment is very clear about this , our God is asking to love Him with a burning love : “Worship your Lord , God!”
On Good Friday it was not the nails that kept Christ on the cross , but His infinite love towards us , the faith that we are capable to grow up to ,this holy, living community of love ! Our Redeemer believes that we are capable getting rid of the selfish bounds, limits like the butterfly the chrysalis , fly towards heaven and unite with Him in love ! It is an unbelievable challenge , unbelievable vistas for all of us , to come to a sudden holt , giving up our soaring , every compromise, solitude is hell itself !
With love,

Picture: God bending down to His child Saint Anthony.
One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee's house and took his place at the table. And a woman in the city, who was a sinner, having learned that he was eating in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster jar of ointment. She stood behind him at his feet, weeping, and began to bathe his feet with her tears and to dry them with her hair. Then she continued kissing his feet and anointing them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, 'If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him—that she is a sinner.' Jesus spoke up and said to him, 'Simon, I have something to say to you.' 'Teacher,' he replied, 'speak.' 'A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he cancelled the debts for both of them. Now which of them will love him more?' Simon answered, 'I suppose the one for whom he cancelled the greater debt.' And Jesus said to him, 'You have judged rightly.' Then turning towards the woman, he said to Simon, 'Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore, I tell you, her sins, which were many, have been forgiven; hence she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.' Then he said to her, 'Your sins are forgiven.' But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves, 'Who is this who even forgives sins?' And he said to the woman, 'Your faith has saved you; go in peace.'
