Father Csaba’s reflection on the gospel Friday 11 January 2019
“..he would withdraw to deserted places and pray.” Luke 5, 16
With the help of God I am also going to withdraw to Szentkút to present a three day retreat ! The sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Szentkút is Hungary’s National Shrine , a place for retreats ! It is good to be there , because it is quite certain that in such a blessed, sanctified places heaven and earth are closer together ! Certainly, that Jesus was with the Heavenly Father , prayed but see our Master still spent time for quietening down , introspection , for prayer in a secluded place !
Lets set time aside consciously for fulfilling God’s first commandment !” Worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve Him only.’”According to the catechism “ Recognising God our first duty is our faith in Him , the worshipping, paying homage and glorifying , the recognition of the absoluteness of His reign .”
I am happy , because in the that in the following days I’ll only have one task to do that in one of the most beautiful and sacred places of the Carpathian basin : worshiping God , praising , glorifying , exaltation of Him !
Lets give ourself the gift of this blessed time with the praising of God !! Lets give ourself time for body, mind but also our soul as well !
With the love of a lesser brother,
Father Csaba

Once, when he was in one of the cities, there was a man covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean." Then Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I do choose. Be made clean." Immediately the leprosy left him. And he ordered him to tell no one. "Go," he said, "and show yourself to the priest, and, as Moses commanded, make an offering for your cleansing, for a testimony to them." But now more than ever the word about Jesus spread abroad; many crowds would gather to hear him and to be cured of their diseases. But he would withdraw to deserted places and pray.
