My Lord , how often have You tried in our towns on Your knees crying , have You longed to gather us, your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings?,You came among us,You taught, encouraged us with Your words, by Your example to love God and our fellow human beings , You washed our feet lovingly and You died for us on the Cross ! Ever-since then how many times have You called us and are You calling us to Yourself with mercy and love through so many wonderful miracles , the lives of your wonderful saints , reaching out to us through our conscience?! We received this enormous beautiful world as our home, we could live quietly , in paradise like peace , as good sisters and brothers , like members of a big family but we reject You and we tormented by an unhealthy hatred are at war with our brethren ! My Lord whichever way I look I can see that You have provided us abundantly , we have everything we need that guided by Your love we could build such a country that could be a sweet home for all us and yet we are tearing apart, we are at each other’s throat murdering one another !
Our Lord Jesus Christ , I beseech You with great love , that by getting ready for the Eucharistic Congress planed for 2020 to be held in Budapest , You speak to us again, gather us in the Fraternity of the Holy Eucharist , like the hen her chicks ! We believe and profess that You are truly present in the Holy Eucharist and You would like to shower upon those Your healing, life-giving gifts who trustingly nestle up close to You . For this reason we are organising a group, whose members promise to spend at least an hour weekly in Your company in front of the holy Eucharist, in adoration, in one of the churches or chapels in this big, wide world.
You asked us in your holy commandments “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind !” We are joining forces to keep this request of Yours every moment of our lives and at least one hour a week in Your holy presence we spend time in front of the Eucharist !
We believe and profess that You only left us from Your human form only so that in form of the sacrament you can be present everywhere , where Your priests, Your congregation are calling You with living faith ! We believe and profess that following Mary’s “yes” You became man in Bethlehem and we also believe and profess that upon the “yes” of Your priests and children You’ll come among us in the form of the Holy Eucharist ! For us every single holy mass is Christmas eve , every single church the cave in Betlehem , every single altar the manger from Bethlehem ! This is why we are creating the Fraternity of the Blessed Eucharist on the feast of Your Ascension primarily for the orphaned children in care of the Saint Francis Foundation and all those who would like to join our spiritual family !
As a mark of the creation of this community we are organising a three day retreat : From Wednesday 24 May -Friday 26 May , we will have a 6pm holy mass in Déva followed by a joint adoration lasting one hour . The mass and reflection will be in honour of our Lord Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist. On the 26th in Déva we will have a perpetual adoration lasting for 24 hours !
We hope that by the 25th our informatics team will be ready with the special diary for the adoration on www.magnificat.ro
that can be accessed by anybody from any part of the world !!! The one signing up can choose their own time ,it is voluntary to take part in this 24 hour daily, perpetual adoration !
May God grant us that the love of the Holy Eucharist may flare up in our hearts ! Let us pray that our world maybe embraced, in the blessed presence of our Lord , by the fraternal community of people reconciled, in peace and love !
