"The days will come ….” Matthew 9, 14
We think that we have time always for everything ! However everything has its time under the sun , and we are not masters of this time but just simple travellers! The passing, marching on of time has its own laws , routes it does not go here or there at the time you want , but as our Creator sees it fit! The train is going on, making headways but not according your heart’s desire , you cannot get on or off it just where , it pleases you but only where it goes to and where it stops !! There is a travelling time between two stations and if you want to reach your destination you have to pay attention !! At school as well, when you write a test , there is its day and hour , but only and during the time allocated for it can you write down your answers , that the teacher will accept !! If you are punctual then your work will be recognised , once the match has been called off , you would be running in vain and kicking a goal into the empty goal post you would only be ridiculous !! Time is marching on , in its own way, you do not decide at the end of winter its time to prune the vines of grape, the days will come regardless whether you have pruned the grapes or not the circulation of the sap independent of your will, will begin and if you do the pruning too late then you’ll cause damage . despite your good intentions you can even kill it ! A wise man uses every moment of the time given to him by our Creator for the purpose it was intended for ! The holy time of Lent should be also be used wisely, humbly , we have to know that we are not lords, masters of the time but only its travellers !

Man is not made out of a block of marble , but a being made out of flesh and blood , who through experiences is learning, changing , forming . We have to trust in the grace of God that is capable of changing us . Regular confession of our sins helps to form our consciences , our struggles against our bad inclinations, dispositions , making it possible for Christ to heal us and strengthen us in His love . We experience the gift of God’s mercy and this in turn encourages us to be merciful, compassionate in our hearts like Him .

The evil spirit naturally does everything , that you maybe afraid , be anxious , feel belittled , do not dare take on bigger tasks , do not want to move mountains . If it manages to succeed , it is the winner and you are the barren figtree that was cursed by Jesus . Do not let be conquered by lack of faith, fear , you are God’s child , you also have the right to ask for miracles from your Heavenly Father!!

I often get called , to prepare people for their last journey and what I can see , the one who can pronounce , independent of their state , that “My Lord, My God .My God and my All” not only calms down , but is also filled with light, such joy , that lasts for the eternity . The blessed presence of God for the man of the twenty first century is so essential , as the life-giving water of the well in the desert .

He paid a greater price for us than I. Ever since then I realise that He is the good shepherd , and I am the puli, “the sheepdog”.
If He paid the price here on earth , then He is the Master. Jesus could not really have done more than dying for us on the cross , without turning His back on us for ever .He could not have done more ,
There is no morning , that God would not to urge us to do something good, beautiful, when we get up , there is no such evil deed after which we would not have pangs of conscience : go, make peace , ask for forgiveness , start again !
Our conscience is God’s word within us , and God is never asleep within us .
There is no such little village tucked away in the back of beyond , that down and out person in whose heart God would not be present . The same way as on the dawn of Easter He did not give up , the same way there is no such an unfortunate person , in whose heart He would not look for a way out to move on, solutions for the miseries in which that person finds himself .
This not only works in the heart of certain people , but in the life of mankind as well.
I believe that He always has an “ace” up His sleeve , that He uses if the problems are great . I am convinced , that He will take care , move the world further on .

If your heart so dictates you let go of the trapeze ,and plunge into yawning abyss! Have faith you are throwing yourself into the arms of the living God ! I know it is not easy , but the Lord of Life , in whose name you said to your yearnings , does not take His eyes of you, He won’t let you fall passively, to break yourself , He will hold you up and guide you with a firm hand .And this always moving forth -this is what life is about .

The time has come when it is much more difficult to hide people’s dirty laundry , than in previous times, but this does not mean that we are worse now , but we have arrived to a newer stage of purification .
God is not asleep. With laborious work He is guiding us step by step on the way out of the hopeless, difficult situation. . Of course because of our free will we have the opportunity either individually or as a community by choosing hatred, anger. It would be good , if we would stop and paying attention to God we would make a decision by choosing love . God is at work : in each and everyone of us and the big family of mankind as well . Let Him guide us !
