Only after our death looking back from the afterlife will we able to understand the great correlations in our lives ! They say, that life is like a big Persian rug. From the bottom we can only see the reverse side and there , there is nothing else then a lot of meaningless knots . But if we look at it from above then we’ll see that exquisite patterns, forms, configurations are rippling across the carpet.

Our world can only be saved by turning towards Love Himself. We have to learn from our Lord Jesus Christ the life-giving power of the sacrifice of love for each other . We will only posses freely , what we accept voluntarily out of love , for what if need be we are capable to give our life for! Jesus died for us and therefore we cannot not love Him ! The difficulties that one has to go through willingly or unwillingly inevitably lead one into the arms of our God . It is so good to rest in His arms. It is so great to experience that the Lord who created heaven and earth , again and again can give us a new solution for our tasks that He has given to us. When I run out of ideas as to where do I find the funds to pay the gas bill, my colleagues’ salary or start a new home , I always turn to God and He sends help through someone.

It is not up to us to carry out someone else's task satisfactorily, what is important to carry out our own task to the best of our ability. Lets not be concerned what others are doing around us , whether we get thanked for our work or not, or what is happening in this big ,wide world !God is going to call us to be accountable only for one thing , and that’s nothing more than the work we were entrusted with. Both you and I have a precious task that God gave us, that no matter what happens in or around us that we still have to fulfill.

Our world has grown callous , alienated from people. Somewhere the mercy that gives us healing, strength , courage has been lost . Everybody has only incredibly high expectations , demands , is judgmental then we go home and we discard. Unfortunately today’s man discards everything and everyone who are not suitable, do not meet their expectations. Patience , perseverance and mercy - without theses virtues we can only be each other’s judges .

If we pray for someone, even through clenched teeth , nice and slowly our passions will mellow, some form of bond will form between us , we’ll be able to see behind all the scum the sparkling little golden nuggets that I feel are present in all men’s soul. I know it is much worse for him than for me , because I only seldom have to meet his kooky head, but he has to live with it. I rather feel sorry for people like this and not condemn them.

Rejection is very simple, it only takes a moment ! Acceptance, the gentle sharing of our values , forgiveness is hard work taking years and yet I still encourage you to chose this way , because our Lord walks along with us this way.
There is no such morning when God would not prompt us to do good, something nice when we get up , there is no such bad act, deed that later on would not stir, urge us from within : go, make peace, ask for forgiveness , start again !

It is very easy to love someone in the short term, to charm them with gifts, nice words. God loves us with an everlasting love and we should also have to be prepared for such long term love , to be fruitful, to bear fruits. I try to love our children in such a way , that even years later they’ll feel that I was there for their benefit, for their help.
