Sin -unless we want to be freed from it conscientiously - can wreck our lives, it’s like a beast that devours our most precious treasures , or like a flood , that will muddy everything , destroys all that we achieved with exhausting work. This is why that we regard sin as bad , reject it and like garbage throw it out , out of our lives . 

Therefore the essence of repentance is not to cherish within ourselves the beast, lets not want to find excuses , explain one or more of our sinful habits or shift the blame , responsibility onto someone else, but wipe it out from our lives .

I ask my Lord to grant me that from His heart a great river may spring in my heart , in the dark night from my flickering faith many-many candlelights may be born , and in any  

grubby face , down-and-out being my children discover Him . Grant me Lord that bending down to life , protecting , helping the little ones , putting up with the faults  of the weak ones , stooping under the cross , starting afresh smiling , to serve God all the time and the children in my care also do likewise.

Our Lord Jesus Christ did not come for an eight hour daily work from heaven, so that in the meantime He can see to, in a part-time position , heavenly matters as well after His earthly tasks, but He emptied Himself , that we may become His only worries-the Holy Scripture uses the  beautiful Greek word Kenosis. The essence of love is that I forget about myself and I live for the other.

A child knows that he is small and the sleigh easy to fall off, so within moments he gets up laughing  and confidently climbs up again on the hill, to try again to get down safely into the valley !!

Where do I stand with starting afresh ? Am I capable to forgive myself , can I laugh at my own weakness and trustingly start out again ? 

Familiar voice ?! “Unless you become like little children….”

Lets become like children and aware of our own weaknesses lets dare to start again laughing , trusting  that , God does not ask us to do the impossible , and sooner or later we’ll manage to reach our goal without falling !!

I believe that God loves every single person very much. There is no such person , either a sinner or a just person for whom Jesus would not have undertaken His death on the cross. Love teaches you everything . I think, that if you’d people cannot accept Christianity , that is exactly for the reason , because our lives are filled with lamentation, whining . When did I loudly praise God , When did I rejoice in happiness , to give thanks for my loved ones , my work, my everyday food ?

Our beloved Heavenly Father, I ask You very , very humbly to give us strength to concentrate on what You have entrusted us to do ! Help us to spend all our time and energy to carry out our own tasks well . Help me to understand it is better that it is much better even if stumbling , to carry out our own tasks rather than to meddle into other people’s business .

If I , even though a sinner , can still love our children then how much more can our Heavenly Father love . Naturally He does not keep out of the way sulking , if we get ourselves in hot water , He loves us even then and is merciful towards us, even if our relationship with Him is not unclouded .

Even from the greatest depths one can still get back into the light, the road leading to eternal happiness is not closed off from anybody . In fact, people who have been redeemed from their sins many times feel a greater desire to compensate God for their wasted, squandered love, life , just as that debtor who had a large debt remitted .

According to the teaching of the Church , there is no such sin , that would have once and for all plunged our lives into a dead end street, that would have closed off for ever our way towards the infinite sea of God’s mercy. Forgiveness however has to be asked for, and it is not enough to ask , but the sin has to be repented  from the bottom of our heart, one has to make a strong vow , that one does not want to commit it again , even to avoid the opportunity that leads to sin , and as far as possible , to make amends for what one has done .

We are not disposable hankies for God, if we get soiled He does not throw us away . He is not a sulking elderly gentleman , who is waiting for us to appease Him . He is capable to cleanse us and give us newer holy tasks . He is standing by your side even when you feel small, crippled .
