We attended the requiem mass for the repose of the soul of Dr Pongrácz József today in Kecskemét in the Holy Family Church. The mass was celebrated by four priests the chief celebrant was Father Csaba in a church packed by several hundred people showing their love, respect for him and his beloved family. The readings were beautiful selected by him..representing his life .... Father Csaba's homily was very moving about a man whose driving force in life was love and compassion towards his fellow human beings mainly the children..but never was anything too much for him....Pongi may God grant you eternal rest and consolation to the ones left behind !
With all our love and prayers ..

At midday the bells rang for you even in Panonhalma.
It is great to do good !! It is cold - it is snowing, it is going to get very, very cold !! Let us pay attention to the homeless who are at great peril in these days….
We visited the homeless at the train station in Déva with a cup of coffee, tea and biscuits with the children !! Our world can be made habitable by the warmth of solidarity !!!
With love,
Father Csaba

Just how great a blessing a person can be we only realize after their death !!
In 2016 I still had two wonderful grandfathers!!! I profess it with a living faith that they did not die however quietly they entered the Kingdom of Heaven ! Life on earth is our life-as it should be- continues on its own way !! I encourage you with prayer and love to love each other while we still have the opportunity here on earth!
With hope in the eternal life ,
Father Csaba
translated by dr k.e.
I asked for strength that I might achieve;
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I had asked for,
but eveything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself my unspoken prayers were answered;
I am, among all men, most richly blessed.
