Read more: Advent….It is the time of Advent !  In the seemingly endless night what difference is a flickering light making ? I am not sure. I only know, that one has to be like a burning flame !! That we have to start anew after each lost battle . Whatever has happened , one has to get up again and rekindle the flame, the love, the goodness , the virtues. One has to be a burning beacon ,even if you are consumed by the fire.

My Lord , the temple of my body is Yours, I beseech You with infinite humbleness  to visit Your sanctuary and drive out all  that does not belong there! Cleanse me, because You have the power , the strength, the wisdom to do so ! The years are going by , I feel, that so often my so frequently cherished  faults, bad habits‘ roots run deep , Your temple  , became a cave of peddlers’ desires frittering away Your will of creation , of  fear , standstill  ! During the decades I learnt to live together with my sluggish nature, with my dreams within boundaries , with my shortcomings , it cannot be, it's not allowed , that is the end of it ! All these I know are sins , because they limit Your power in the further creation of our world ,  the spreading of Your  life-giving  graces! So many things occupy my time in the temple of my body , I  shuffle here and there , I fiddle , without You in the midst of all the odds and ends I get lost ! Come into Your own so that You cleanse me, sanctify me with Your everyday teaching, healing holy presence !!!!
Trusting in the grace of God,

Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them,
“It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.”
And every day he was teaching in the temple area.
The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words.
Luke 19, 45-48.

Lord reading Your words today, I am praying for the courage, trust of the blind beggar ! I ask You to teach us, as Your children in our troubles to turn You, grant us the courage to cry out to You ,in our difficulties to beseech Your help! Help our unbelief that even You have no cure for our “ills” or time to pay attention to our insignificant problems!!
A real Father always finds the time for His child ! I believe that You joyfully hear our timid knocks - even if in one or more situations we would be at fault- I implore You to answer our requests with mercy !!
With love,
Father Csaba

As Jesus approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening.
They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!”
The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me!”
Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”
He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”
Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.”
He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God.
When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God.
Luke 18 , 35-43

At the time of the last judgement the child, covered in blood , will come face to face with his/her mother . I believe that there the two of them will have a lot to sort out. Not God will pronounce the judgement but this tiny life killed will say “ Mother look God would have meant for me to have this beautiful life….”

Boldogok azok a szolgák, akiket  uruk

Our Lord Jesus Christ in today’s gospel is showing His disciples many ways leading to a blessed life. In the year of mercy let us choose the seventh of the beatitudes and today on All Saint’s Day on our way to the cemetery let us reflect on this :"
7"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."
It is so good to know that mercy will open for us the way into the kingdom of heaven, for eternal joy! We are all aware of our faults, sins afflicting ,crippling us the one way by which we can be freed from this according to our Lord Jesus Christ :”Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us …..”
I encourage you lovingly generously embark on the road of mercy,

The Beatitudes.
1 Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him.
2 And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
10 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5 , 1-12a

Over the years I invited many different people to my table , mostly simple, children in trouble, difficulties . The years have passed the former young children we took in, grew up ! This past weekend we organized a nice remembrance ceremony in Petrozsény with a long pilgrimage to the graves of the fallen soldiers , then in remembrance of them we organized a special soccer event with four of my “former” sons and carried it out ! The two day long event went extremely well , everything according to plan I can be really proud of them !! I can rejoice that encouraged by the words of our Lord Jesus Christ I invited such people and still do who there and then could not repay my hospitality !! I thank the Lord the guiding light of the gospel , that encouragement that opens our hearts towards each other and makes all of us better by it !!

12He said also to the one who had invited him, “When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. 13But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. 14And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
Luke 14, 12-14
