Lets take a look within myself , who do I resemble in the crowd following Jesus ?! The chief priest asking for death penalty , the hand washing Pilate , the crowd shouting “Crucify Him”- , the lamenting women or the empathic Veronica , or perhaps the helping Simon of Cyrene ? In this unceasing Good Friday who am I ? An executioner carrying out a sentence , the left brigand with a heart hardened by hatred , or Saint John embracing Mary ? I have to choose I have to make a decision , because even if I do not decide I already did and in the role of the gawping crowd I just scrape by , to whom Jesus only says "weep for yourselves “. Yes Christ wept for us at the walls of Jerusalem , as He could see that they are drifting towards destruction on the way of indifference . Being aware of my own weakness I choose Christ not Barabas and humbly I stand by the side of the condemned carrying His cross , not in the midst of the condemners intoxicated by their own so called “ right” “truth” . You also have to decide ! Consciously step on the path of compassion , love , together with the right brigand beg for Christ’s mercy !

We are beings created in the image and likeness of Christ , He loved his people not only universally , but each and everyone of us separately as well . Our Redeemer came amongst us on Christmas eve, lovingly visited , with His life , goodness He illuminated the greedy banker Zacchaeus , the possessed wallowing in his sins and the dead Lazarus . On Easter Sunday he was not expecting triumphantly people’s homage in a cushioned office with pierced feet , but infinitely humbly He sets out Himself and looks for the disciples from Emmaus , the lost sheep , He looks for the hundredth as well and places it on His shoulders and takes it to safety . For Him Saul the murderer of Christians is also important . He is not looking for him accompanied by the media , but in the still of the night He Himself goes onto the road to Damascus , to address him, with His love He grants him a new life so that this foaming at the mouth terrorist , to become the apostle of the people, Saint Paul.

God has several names : He is the Love, the Goodness, the Truth -all these basic values are in Him. The one who is seeking pure beauty , who takes delight selflessly , without greed and avarice and without being tempted to sin is in some way searching for God .
The Lord’s ways unfortunately are not always our ways , but at time like this one has to stop humility and one has to suddenly realise , that I am alone -and 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” Mark 8, 36. And at such times humbly one has to turn around and go everywhere , where you hope , that you will find your Lord , your God .

The courts in this world will punish sins committed unintentionally or because of ignorance , of course taking mitigating circumstances into consideration . In the world not knowing the rules of the law does not exempt one from the sentence . But the earthly court “ cannot see into the heart “ , that is why often biased judgements can be made by the judges .
Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina put this into words very beautifully :” The devil has only one way, entrance into our hearts : the will, there are no other hidden gates . There is no such sin that was not committed willingly . If the will does not consent , then it was not a sin committed but human weakness ."

I believe that God loves every person very much . There is no such man , whether a sinner , whether true , for whom Jesus would not have accepted the death on the cross. It was a wonderful experience when I first realised , that even if I would have been the only person living in this world Christ would have still died for me on the cross .
It is not God’s feelings that are changing towards us , rather our love can grow , can become more conscious after that the knowledge of being “lost” we can experience His merciful love , as after an illness we can appreciate our health more , it becomes a greater treasure for us till we experienced the lack of it .
The meaning of a relationship also often becomes more valuable , if after a lot of struggle we find each other again . Of course it would be good , if we would not have “ prodigal events, stories “ , these are not what are endearing us in the eyes of God .
Sin always wounds love , causes pain for others as well as ourselves also : if the desire is not pure , it is followed by suffering .

I ask from God to make us free , that we discover , become conscious of our deepest , most sincere desires within ourselves and may we have the strength to freely follow those . We only have one life, with a finite time, it would be so great , if nicely , deliberately , we could make come true that what we love the most, step , by step !
It would be good if with all our might , energy what we regard important, valuable with perseverance, composedness we fulfil !
This is what I ask for myself and my dear acquaintances from the Spirit of Strength and Courage !

The Blessed Virgin Mother did not grow up by presenting huge sermons to become the Queen of Heaven. In today’s sense of the word She was not a star , She was the inhabitant of small, dull Palestinian village , lived like anybody else .But by fulfilling Her everyday tasks and reliance on God, Her unconditional trust grows up to be Queen of Heaven: She accepts the Child from the Holy Spirit , taking on also that people won’t believe Her . Despite the fears, uncertainties She is prepared to say “yes” : becomes a refugee in Egypt : even though She does not always comprehend yet She still perseveres by Jesus’ side : She is there at the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry and at the end of it as well . She is by His side, accompanies Him on the way of the cross, suffers with Him under the cross and together with the apostles receives the Holy Spirit .

The Church’s teaching is that there is no such sin , that would plunge our lives for good into a dead-end street , that would close off our way for ever from the infinite sea of God’s mercy. But we have to ask for forgiveness , and it is not enough just to ask, we have to repent our sins whole heartedly , we have to make a strong pledge , that I never want to commit them again , I want to avoid even the chance that can lead to sin , and as far as possible I’ll make amends for what I have sinned .

Lord I know that I am unworthy , but I still cry out to You , I would like to hear Your consoling ,encouraging voice , I beg You to open my deaf ear to hear Your word ! I ask You to grant me courage and strength so I can address You , with my prayer coming from my heart, that I may embrace You with the arms of my faith , You who lives and reigns now and forever !
With a childlike humility I implore You to speak : "“Ephphatha!” that is “Be opened!”. “ and I ‘ll start to speak, and shall hear Your life-giving word , and proclaim Your holy greatness and Your holy will to my brethren !

In their own way everybody is unique and beautiful, this is how God saw it good, in His generosity , blessed be His goodness. His plentiful richness! All that I have received belongs to God, but with love, goodness I can pass it on .
God’s opinion is what matters , He knows our intentions , our lives , the values , the talents that we received and the rest is not that important .
Unless you can fall on your knees whole heartedly before the Lord of the universe , then you need not get down on your knees at all.
