With our eyes we can see the colours , with our hands we can touch the objects , with our tongues we can feel the taste, with our faith we can embrace God. Faith is man's one and only sensory organ , with which we can embrace the supernatural world, God’s world . With our faith , these two mystical arms we are searching for God , Whom we can find either in our own, our Church’s or even in our people’s most innermost blind alley so we can embrace Him.

One of the greatest sins of our days is people’s abstract love, the impersonal love towards those , who are somewhere far away .
It is so easy to love those people , whom we do not know ,whom we have never met ! As that does not involve making sacrifices , and beside this we are so satisfied with ourselves ! This is how we cheat our own conscience ! Love that neighbour of yours with whom you live together and who is a burden to you !

The living faith - just as the vision for a painter- gives meaning to a person’s life, wandering , existence here in this world . Our wrestling with ourselves is not a tragic monologue , but a constructive , planning dialogue with the Infinity .
For the seeing, sensing of the divine mysteries often we have to get down on our knees.

God is open for the smallest babbling , the simplest talk . He can hear even from our stuttering the love, trust , goodness we feel for Him. Even from the most artful beautiful words He senses , if there is no trust, love , obedience , goodness towards Him . He sees into our hearts and what He finds there is what is important , not our words . I am not expecting beautiful, flattering words from the children either : they put their arms around my neck , they mumble a few sincere words and that is enough for me .

God has many faces and it is quite certain that the biblical scholar reading the Bible , the friar glorifying , eternally worshipping God in the holy Eucharist , as the parent taking care of his own or I who tries to go amidst the poorest is meeting with the same living God . Jesus said , that the one who gives only a glass of water to the least of all , is giving it to God Himself . He Himself is saying that He is present in the man who is in trouble, the fallen ones . Not the same way as in the Blessed Sacrament or in the Holy Scriptures, but that person can experience the same deep encounter with God , who is journeying along the way of love .

One of the features of the love of Christ is that it is endless . It is not for twenty-thirty years that He loves us , not until , like many people , till we are beautiful, kind , interesting , kind-hearted . No, "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken,”.(Isaah 54, 10) . This “never” , this “endlessness” is what grabs me , knocks me back . He loves me even if I make mistakes , He loves me even if I cause pain .

I only ask one thing from my Creator for myself and that is that following the example of Mary carrying God in my heart , happily, joyfully singing the Magnificat I can be at the service of my own Elizabeth-s, to carry out that work that my brothers need the most . I would like to accomplish this work day after day with a Marian spirit , happily that others would not even do if they were paid for it !!!

As to who you are going to be , that you decide : I believe that the world, our people need “Mary-s.”! Unfortunately there is no shortage of betraying Judas-s , Peter-s turning their back or judging Pilate-s amongst us . Many can only shout “crucify Him “ ! Or just foolishly looking around and do not understand anything , others just sink into themselves crying and cannot see a way out from our world drifting into hatred. We have to be Mary-s ! Filled with love , joyfully trusting singing the Magnificat , helping with good intentions , Mary-s with honest, enduring hard work making the world around us better! We can be children happily serving Life and Love so lets strive for this !!

Mankind is going through one of the greatest crisis in history regarding the question of faith , whilst I can see a great hunger for faith - more and more people realise that being well-off financially , wordly joys , human relationships can never perfectly satisfy , fulfil this , for some reason in general they get disappointed. Saint Augustine expressed this as such :You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” Our human heart created for infinity is yearning for perfection, for infinite goodness, love, understanding, truth, wisdom . The beauty is that in God we can find all this .

Life is not measured in money , careers , but in laughter , happiness , high spirits . I accompanied many people on their last journey and nobody talked about about what they possessed , but they look back on the happy days , the joyful moments and regret the time wasted, when they did not decide by love .
