How good it would be if we could also learn from  God’s infinite patience towards us that arrises from trust !The Heavenly Father does not create rejects , Jesus Christ knows this , and for this reason on the cross trusting in the people , He asks for forgiveness for us.

I believe that our king Saint Stephen did not choose in vain the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Patron Saint of Hungary . I believe that we all have been called ,that in some way we become like Mary ,with a Marian  spirit fathers , mothers , children, adults . May God grant us that truly the spirit, spirituality  of the Blessed Virgin Mary may permeate our families , our lives , our homeland so that we all experience all the happiness and joy , that also  Mary experienced here in this world!!

The Holy Spirit wants to work within us and not in place of us , and He is not going to write His decisions, advices on a lit up billboard , so that all we have to do is keep nodding :”Yes Lord , of course Lord , and so we just march triumphantly on the way . A person living in the presence of the Holy Spirit also has to ponder himself in the quietness of prayer , search for solutions , but also exert himself to accomplish in this day and age all that our Lord Jesus Christ put up as a goal post in front of us .

We have such a great need for silence , for peaceful  introspection, like fish needs the life-giving pure water ! Lets seek the silence and solitude , where God can speak to us , where we can hear our Creator’s word !!

The sick need a physician . When one feels helpless, fallible , feels that the waves are breaking over one’s head than whom could one turn to , where could one go to ?! One turns to God, so that He may help him. Our Lord puts it so beautifully :“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11, 28

God cannot make the right decision in our place , everybody has to make their decision  choosing love, kindness. Christ can  give us light, hope, strength , guide us as well , deepen our faith , but we are the ones who have to make the decisions . Our  eternal life is the fruit  of our own decisions .

He ate just the same , slept, rejoiced, was afraid , was subjected to temptation, felt pain just like any of us .

He does not just wear our humanity , like a piece of clothing , but He becomes a true man. I believe and profess the teachings of the two thousand year old Church . Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the true God assumed the body of a true man and His human heart  perfectly mirrors the heart of God.

Jesus did not redeem the world by His great miracles and great sermons, but by His suffering, by His death on the cross that He accepted out of the love for us .

Jesus Christ made Himself one with man , without exception He suffers with all of us : the deserted, hungry child, the victims of physical and spiritual violence and every sick person .

I have to be aware , that on the dawn of creation God said ,that let there be-and so it was . The same God is telling me that "Father Csaba , go and welcome that little girl  and love her. “ -Why would I not say yes to God ? Why would I notdare to undertake to do what God is asking from me ?

It would be good if in the quietness of Lent we would think our life over at some length, the beautiful plans of our Creator and our Redeemer for us, for our family , but also for our people .

It would be important if the challenges , the dangers that are lurking ahead of us would be outlined in front of our watchful, vigilant eyes . The  sly temptations , the sinful desires , habits we should identify by frank, sincere self-examination, then trusting in God , with merciless determination, like the weed for the gardener , we should eradicate them from our lives .

Contemplation is nothing else , than to get to the heart of the matter deep within our spirit , a sincere facing  up to ourselves .

Recognising grace is more important than anything else , because it is here at this level where the basic decisions of our lives are  made , good resolutions that give us strength , impetus . The Church assigns the forty days of the holy time of Lent for this purpose .

With the humility of a lesser brother I also encourage everybody , lets not spare neither trouble nor time for this period for calming down , repentance. 

It will be “refunded “ a thousand fold !
