Most of the problems, troubles, difficulties originate from the fact that we do not dare to open the door to our heart before our brethren , it is difficult to take each other’s hand, we are afraid to take each other trustingly into our lives ! Today’s man leading a lonely, secluded life , like a log fallen out of a campfire starts to flicker, smoulder ,then in its sooty solitude the flame is extinguished !

A child has to be prepared to face that world in which they will have to be living in. There is no use to mollycoddle them as the outside world won’t do that either , rather without pity will put them to the test . If it is cold outside and there is a lot of mud , I have to get them ready to put on heavy boots even if they will give them blisters on their feet , it will be more uncomfortable to walk in them than in a pair of thongs . “

We don’t have to conquer but convince the other. We should not stop them, but get them on our side patiently, humbly : If I represent a true cause then I have to present it , compose my arguments convincingly so that the other person may stand by my side . If I cannot convince them then I may not be right or else I cannot compose , represent my values, worth well. I should be open maybe they are right , or pay attention , what is not clear or easily “digestible” in my views . I can see it among the children as well how they like to pick a fight , one of three straight away wants to become the boss . Adults straight away want to push their views onto others and direct the others. Very -very humbly we should look into our hearts, am I really standing up for the truth or am I only trying to or bowl over the other. When ever we have a fierce argument in most cases what is the most important thing is , who rules the roost !

Have the courage to stop and willingly decide to accept life !! I accompanied so many people , as a priest, on their last journey and I can say that all looking back from there, only want to see the faces of their children, grandchildren, their loved ones ! You can create , achieve anything in this world it will all become annihilated , you have to know , that everything is fleeting, only the soul of your loved ones , child is immortal !!

God is love . He is not the One sending the acid rain onto our forrest, He is not the One polluting our world irresponsibly, He did not drop the atom bomb , He is not organising the world wars , the quarrelling , the animosities , He is not the One leaving the hungry children by the roadside, He is not the One making the illicit drugs (dope) , but us , people. Our sins, our blindness , our foolishness are the cause of all the troubles.

Often here on this earth we cannot see the kind-hearted presence of God , and many things are beyond our comprehension, but quite certainly after our death we suddenly realise , and we are astonished to see that every difficulty, pain had a reason , how many miracles occurred in our lives , in one or more difficult moments how many times did God appear in our lives with His love , and helped us to overcome one or more obstacles , that we credited to chance or perhaps we just waved our hands : “Oh this is nothing!” We just sigh : “ How blind I must have been , that I did not see this, that it never occurred to me !”

Bábakalács up on the Hargita ! Our world created by God fills me with joy and awe . A gift that speaks about how much God loves us …The world could be just in black and white , it would exist even like that ……Why is there so much colour , so many shapes, so much fragrance ? Why did our Creator take so much trouble with this world ?
In a place where you are loved on the table a meal consisting of several courses awaits you ! The overwhelming beauty of our world speaks about how much God loves us ! You are your Creator’s precious, beloved child !

Why does God put up with so much evil in our world ? This question can be approached from several directions: Wy does a mother put up with her children fighting ?! I believe that a mother never wants her children to suffer, cause pain to each other and themselves . She tries everything , that with her love , goodness to convince them to settle their differences. Her efforts are crowned with success many times, at other times not .

Nowadays the greatest sin is people’s abstract love, the impersonal love towards those , who are somewhere far away..
It is so easy to love those people whom we don’t even know , with whom we never meet ! Since then there is no need to make sacrifices , and beside this we are so satisfied with ourselves ! This is how we cheat our conscience . Love that “neighbour “ with whom you live together , and the one who is a burden to you !

For myself I only ask for one thing from my Creator, and that is, following the example of Mary carrying God in my heart , happily, joyfully singing the Magnificat I could serve my own Elizabeths , carry out that work that my brethren need most . I would like to accomplish the tasks day after day with a Marian spirit joyfully that others would not do, even if they were paid for it!!
