You decide as to who you are going to be: I believe that the world, our people need Mary-s ! Unfortunately we are not short of  betraying Judases , Peters turning their back or judging Pilates amongst us . Some can only shout “crucify Him” ! Or they are just looking around foolishly and cannot understand anything , others are crying sinking into themselves and  they can see no way out from our world drifting into hatred . We have to be like Mary ! Carrying love around, trusting happily whilst singing the Magnificat , helping with good will , making their surrounding by honest, hard work a better place.. Mary-s ! We can be the steadfast, loyal happy serving children  of Life , Love , so lets become that !

There are no two people alike in this world  , our children are God’s unique , unrepeatable , precious miracles ! They are the answers to our questions , troubles, they are the saplings emerging from the soil of our hopes planted in the tomorrow! None of us know what our heavenly Father hid as gifts in their satchels ! Whilst there are children there is hope! We should stand by them with trust , a curious heart and help them to keep opening the gifts brought by them , but meant for all of us by our Creator !

During the course of my service among families in trouble I experienced : that just as in mathematics,  in life as well there are good solutions . There are answers to the problems by which everybody can come to a satisfactory arrangement . In our own little world , in the lives of our brethren around us as well , but even in the lives of the big family of mankind we also have to look for and find these “ good solutions .”

I believe in the power of  prayer : I experienced it many times, that in impossible, hopeless situations God heard our prayers. Jesus Christ Himself said it: Whatever you ask for in my name jointly , you will be given!

In the eyes of God who keeps in evidence every glass of water that was given in the name of love , one or more consoled, saved lives counts much more , than your human blunders or even your sinful erring. And the ones you consoled , helped, supported , at the time of the last judgement with gratitude and love will be your  intercessors , your merciful consolers !

All people living around us , even our loved ones have to go through their own Holy Thursday, Good Friday. Jesus is despised by all, they desert Him, He is suspended between heaven and earth, nobody wants Him except Mary. How great it would be if we could love each other , when the other one is in trouble, if they have no power, dignity left ! If the other one is dirty and looked down, condemned,despised by all, I have to love him even then . How great it would be  , if my companions on their own Good Friday would come upon Mary in me!

I like very much Padre Pio’s prayer : “ My Lord I commend my past to Your mercy, my present to Your love , entrust my future to Your divine care !”

Only the present is in our possession, that we have to live according to the best of our ability, the present moment cannot be extended, one has to get ready, to be able to deal with what the tomorrow brings .

We should know that even when ill one can be happy and even when in good health someone can be unhappy, A short life can also be just as full, complete as a long one, Happiness is not a question of health or sickness but of one’s attitude .

For Jesus it was not the healing of the body that was the most important, but that of the spirit .A healthy man often is in a greater danger than a sick one, because he is inclined to forget about God. The sick person can sense better his weakness, fragility , finiteness , transiency and clings onto God ,

The greatest healer is the one , who can show eternal goals to mankind , who raises our glances to heaven , gives a meaning to our existence either in prosperity , health , or even  living under difficult conditions . 

Everybody has a healing capacity ! If you caress someone with sincere , pure , selfless love , you listen to them , if you approach them with good intention , if you pray for them you are already healing them.

To every request we should add , let not my will be done but God’s. Unfortunately there are those , who in their thoughts pray the Our Father like this:” may my kingdom come, my will be done” , who are mixing their own ideas, notions , with a great dose of self-assurance , religious selfishness , passages taken out of context from the Holy Scripture and calling this faith . 

The good Lord loves them as well , does not want their destruction , but again and again offers them the grace of conversion.

God is not looking idly at the efforts of the man wandering along his course of life, but shows the way , guides us , His commandments are like a compass in our hands . 

Incredible vistas open up in front of that man , who trustingly takes hold of his Lord  God’s hand and sets out with the help of the sacraments visible to our naked eyes as well. The sacraments are the signs of faith , they do not work like  magic or an amulet , we can only embrace them with our living faith , and holding onto them we get going . Faith is a gift of grace, a wonderful gift , with which we can embrace the Infinite God ! Everybody can receive it , who asks for it-but we have to ask for it, and for that reason it is a deliberate decision, a voluntary act as well.
